Four-star tight end Xavier Tiller has reopened his recruitment after decommitting from Texas A&M. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound prospect from Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia, had initially committed to the Aggies in November 2024 but announced his decision to explore other options in February 2025.
During his sophomore year, Tiller showcased his athleticism by recording 25 receptions for 352 yards and seven touchdowns. Beyond football, he also contributes to his high school’s basketball team, averaging 4.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game.
In his renewed recruitment journey, Tiller has expressed interest in reconnecting with programs that were previously contenders, notably the University of Georgia. The Bulldogs were among his top choices before his initial commitment to Texas A&M, and Tiller remains open to finalizing a commitment with Georgia if the circumstances align favorably.
As Tiller navigates this new phase, his combination of size, skill, and versatility continues to make him a valuable asset for collegiate programs seeking a dynamic presence at the tight end position.
