Brady Marchese, a standout wide receiver from Cartersville High School in Georgia, has committed to the University of Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class. Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 185 pounds, Marchese chose the Bulldogs over offers from Georgia Tech, Michigan, and West Virginia. Expressing his enthusiasm, Marchese stated, “This is a dream come true. I’m home, let’s work! Go Dawgs!!”
Marchese becomes Georgia’s sixth commitment for the 2026 class and the second wide receiver, joining top 100 prospect Vance Spafford from Mission Viejo High School in California. While currently unranked in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking, Rivals has recognized Marchese as a four-star prospect. Reflecting on his offer from Georgia, Marchese remarked, “It was kind of unbelievable, I couldn’t really believe it. It meant a lot to me being a Georgia boy and having that happen to me meant a lot… It’s Georgia, they’ll always sit pretty high in my recruitment.”
Prior to his commitment, Marchese had planned official visits to several programs, including Georgia Tech, West Virginia, and Virginia Tech. However, his decision to commit to Georgia underscores his desire to stay close to home and contribute to the Bulldogs’ future success.
Marchese’s commitment adds to Georgia’s impressive recruiting momentum, reflecting the program’s ability to attract top in-state talent and maintain its competitive edge in the Southeastern Conference.
