Texas A&M defensive lineman Shemar Turner announced on Tuesday that he will be declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Turner joins fellow Aggie defensive linemen Shemar Stewart and Nic Scourton in declaring for the NFL Draft. Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko confirmed on Tuesday that all three players will skip the Las Vegas Bowl scheduled for December 27.
“First and foremost, I want to thank you for all the unforgettable memories,” Turner said in a social media post. “From my first day at College Station, I’ve had a deep appreciation for the school, the individuals that impacted my college experience, and the 12th Man tradition. I’ll take all this me as I move on to pursue my dream of entering the draft and playing in the NFL.”
Turner has been a consistent presence on the field, starting every regular-season game over the past two seasons. He concluded his career with the Maroon and White having recorded 115 tackles, including 22.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, three forced fumbles, and one pass deflection across 43 games.
