Texas A&M receiver Micah Hudson intends to re-enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, as confirmed by On3’s Pete Nakos. The decision comes as no surprise, as coach Mike Elko confirmed on Wednesday that Hudson was no longer part of the program.
Hudson never played a down for the Aggies after transferring from Texas Tech this offseason. He played in eight games for the Red Raiders in 2024 to finish with eight catches for 123 yards.
Nakos reported that a return to Texas Tech is a possibility for Hudson. We’ve seen players leave their original school and then have a change of heart before, such as when Kadyn Proctor left Alabama for Iowa before returning to the Crimson Tide in the spring of 2024.
The spring transfer portal window is set to open on April 16 and will last 10 days, closing April 25. Hudson will have to wait until then to officially enter his name back in the portal.
