Texas A&M has secured a significant addition to their football program with the transfer of wide receiver Kevin “KC” Concepcion from North Carolina State. Concepcion, who was named the 2023 ACC Rookie of the Year and earned Freshman All-American honors, brings impressive credentials to the Aggies.
During his freshman season at NC State, Concepcion led the team with 71 receptions for 839 yards and 10 touchdowns, showcasing his versatility by also contributing 320 rushing yards on 41 carries. His standout performance included a career-high 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns against North Carolina.
In his sophomore year, he continued to be a key offensive player, recording 53 receptions for 460 yards and six touchdowns, along with 19 carries for 36 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Concepcion’s decision to join Texas A&M comes after visits to other programs, including Miami and Alabama. His commitment is expected to significantly enhance the Aggies’ receiving corps for the upcoming season.
This transfer is part of Texas A&M’s broader strategy to strengthen their offensive lineup, following recent commitments from other talented receivers.
Concepcion’s arrival is anticipated to make an immediate impact, providing the Aggies with a dynamic playmaker capable of contributing both in the passing game and on the ground.
