Penn State cornerback Cam Miller is set to enter the transfer portal, according to multiple sources confirmed by Blue-White Illustrated. Although his name has not yet appeared in the portal, Miller is expected to explore his options in the coming weeks. He is also no longer listed on Penn State’s official roster.
Hailing from Fernandina Beach, Fla., Miller joined Penn State as part of the Class of 2022. Over his three seasons with the Nittany Lions, he has two years of eligibility remaining but only one to play. As a freshman, Miller appeared in 11 games, but his role expanded significantly in his sophomore year, logging 326 snaps across 13 games in 2023. Notably, he played 78 snaps in the Peach Bowl when Kalen King and Johnny Dixon opted out.
This season, Miller has recorded 319 snaps, similar to his total from last year, ranking third among Penn State cornerbacks. However, he played behind starters A.J. Harris and Jalen Kimber. On Sunday, Kimber announced his decision to declare for the NFL Draft and pursue a professional career. Meanwhile, Harris, a true sophomore, emerged as Penn State’s top cornerback this season after transferring from Georgia, where he appeared in seven games in 2023.
Over his three seasons with the Nittany Lions, Cam Miller recorded 51 tackles, including six tackles for loss and four sacks. In pass coverage, he registered seven pass deflections and one interception.
