Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love is fully healthy ahead of Monday’s College Football Playoff national title game. Love re-aggravated a knee injury during last week’s Sugar Bowl win over Georgia, the same issue that has plagued him since the regular-season finale against USC.
In the Orange Bowl victory, he recorded 11 carries, highlighted by a 2-yard touchdown run where he powered through Penn State defenders.
“I’m good, I’m 100 percent,” Love told On3 on Saturday at media days. “I’m ready to go. It’s been a challenge. But if it ain’t hard, it ain’t good. I’ve been just going along with the ride. I feel like God’s got me. I got my complete trust in this team.”
