Aggie star running back Le’Veon Moss announces he’s coming back to College Station.
The announcement was accompanied by a video showcasing various highlights from Le’Veon Moss’s career with the Aggies.
Moss concluded the 2024 season with an impressive performance, recording 765 rushing yards, 10 rushing touchdowns, and 141 receiving yards, for a total of 906 all-purpose yards.
Moss clearly showed why he’s the No. 1 back in College Station. His speed and toughness is clearly what Mike Elko was looking for all along. This is not just a great thing for Moss, this helps out the running back room tremendously.
Rueben Owens in the backfield promises to be a significant asset for the Aggie roster. He will be a key player to watch in the Las Vegas Bowl against USC, providing an opportunity to assess his potential impact for the upcoming season.
Moss is already receiving support from his teammates, and this move signals a positive step for the Aggies, especially after the recent turmoil of players entering the transfer portal in large numbers.
Among those excited is Aggie tight end Theo Melin Ohrstrom saying, ‘”They ain’t ready,” with an eight ball billiards emoji
Aggie wideout Jahdae Walker responded, “different.”
This is a major win for the Aggies, as it appears they have another shot to go deep into SEC play in 2025.
With Moss returning, this shows that the skill position for the Aggies will be in great shape. The only question for Aggie fans are the big guys up front that helped Moss for over 900 of those all-purpose yards.
Time will only tell as to how the offensive line will play out—they are all eligible to return, but none have said one way or another yet—but this is certainly a great day to be an Aggie fan, nonetheless.
