In a significant boost to their 2026 recruiting class, the Tennessee Volunteers have secured a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda. The 6-foot-7, 320-pound standout from Chattanooga’s Baylor School announced his decision during the Navy All-American Bowl on January 11, 2025.
Osenda, ranked among the top offensive tackles nationally, chose Tennessee over notable programs including Florida, South Carolina, and Minnesota. His decision was heavily influenced by the strong relationships he developed with the Volunteers’ coaching staff. “They are a top school for me and definitely one of my favorites,” Osenda remarked following a visit to Knoxville.
The in-state prospect was particularly impressed by Tennessee’s offensive line coach, Glen Elarbee, and the team’s aggressive playing style. “You can see it in the guys on the field with his offensive line. I feel like what I do well would fit into what they do with their offense,” Osenda noted.
Osenda’s commitment underscores Tennessee’s dedication to strengthening their offensive line with top-tier talent. His combination of size, athleticism, and tenacity is expected to make a significant impact on the Volunteers’ future performance.
As the Volunteers continue to build their 2026 class, Osenda’s decision reflects the program’s growing appeal to elite recruits seeking development and success at the collegiate level.
