Carson Beck’s recent move to Miami (FL) has already been a success off the field, as the quarterback has reportedly secured up to $10 million through combined NIL deals, according to Front Office Sports.
The former Georgia quarterback was absent from the Bulldogs’ College Football Playoff quarterfinal loss to Notre Dame due to undergoing surgery on the ulnar collateral ligament in his right (throwing) elbow.
According to the report, Beck’s agents at ESM revealed that part of the quarterback’s $10 million comes from brand endorsements, while the rest is attributed to the Miami NIL collective, Canes Connection. His corporate partners include Beats by Dre, Powerade, Chipotle, and Airstar Charter.
Beck, 23, initially announced his intention to enter the NFL Draft but later revised his decision, opting instead to enter the transfer portal. He officially committed to Miami on Friday.
During his two seasons as a starter at Georgia, Beck recorded 7,912 passing yards, 58 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions. Having spent five years at UGA, he still has one year of eligibility remaining.
The $10 million total would position Beck as the highest-paid player in college football, surpassing two other quarterbacks who each earned $8 million through transfers. Darian Mensah transferred from Duke to Tulane, while John Mateer moved from Washington State to Oklahoma.
