In the latest update of the 2026 On300 rankings, Texas Longhorns quarterback commit Dia Bell has ascended to the No. 6 overall position. Notably, he stands as the highest-ranked player without a five-star designation.
Bell, hailing from Fort Lauderdale’s American Heritage High School, is recognized as the No. 2 quarterback and the top player in Florida for his class. His commitment to Texas, announced on June 17, 2024, has bolstered the Longhorns’ 2026 recruiting class.
In addition to Bell, Texas has secured commitments from two other prospects featured in the updated On300 rankings. Carrollton (Ga.) defensive back Zelus Hicks is ranked No. 65 overall and is the No. 5 safety. Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek wide receiver Chris Stewart holds the No. 128 spot.
The Longhorns’ 2026 recruiting efforts are gaining momentum, with Bell’s high ranking underscoring the program’s strong future prospects.
