As Tennessee Football gears up for spring practice, the Volunteers have key areas to address to remain competitive in the SEC. Here are three critical aspects they must improve on:
1. Quarterback Consistency – With Joe Milton off to the NFL, all eyes are on Nico Iamaleava. The young quarterback must refine his decision-making and accuracy to lead a high-powered offense.
2. Defensive Secondary Strength – Tennessee’s pass defense struggled last season, ranking among the SEC’s weakest. Improving coverage schemes and tackling fundamentals will be crucial.
3. Offensive Line Depth – Injuries exposed Tennessee’s lack of depth in the trenches last year. Strengthening the O-line with experienced transfers and developing young talent will be key to sustaining offensive momentum.
Head coach Josh Heupel and his staff will look to sharpen these areas before the 2025 season kicks off. Stay tuned for more updates on the Vols’ progress
