
Former Washington defensive back Jordan Shaw
has announced his commitment to Texas A&M, according to On3. He entered the transfer portal on January 3.
During his single season with the Huskies, Shaw played in all 13 games for Washington in the 2024 season. He recorded 37 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 6 pass breakups.
In 2023, Shaw played at Indiana, appearing in four games and starting twice. He recorded 9 tackles and a pass breakup. After entering the transfer portal last offseason, he initially committed to Arizona but later switched to Washington to reunite with former Wildcats head coach Jedd Fisch.
Before starting his college career, Shaw was a three-star recruit, as ranked by the On3 Industry Rankings. This proprietary algorithm combines ratings and rankings from the four major recruiting media services. He was listed as the No. 60 cornerback in the nation for the class of 2023.
Jordan Shaw attended St. Pius X – St. Matthias Academy High in Downey, California. As a senior, he recorded 83 tackles and seven interceptions. Over his two years of varsity football, he also scored eight punt return touchdowns and one kickoff return touchdown.
