In 2023, he appeared in all 12 games for Stanford, making the first 10 starts of his collegiate career. And this season at Stanford, he started in nine games. Daniels had one of the best games of his career in an upset of Louisville, throwing for 298 yards and three touchdowns while completing 66.7% of his passes.
Ashton Daniels, a former three-star recruit, played high school football at Buford High School in Georgia. Ranked No. 1060 overall in the 2022 recruiting cycle, his rating was determined by the On3 Industry Ranking, which aggregates data from the four major recruiting media outlets.
Ashton Daniels will aim to address Auburn’s quarterback struggles under Hugh Freeze moving forward. While the Tigers displayed promise and resilience in 2024, the 2025 season will be crucial, with more consistent play at the quarterback position needed for them to achieve the success they seek.
