Travis Shaw, a 6-foot-6, 340-pound defensive lineman from North Carolina, has committed to the Texas Longhorns.
During his tenure with the Tar Heels, Shaw accumulated 55 tackles and four pass deflections. In the 2024 season, he achieved career highs with 26 tackles, four tackles for loss, and two fumble recoveries.
Originally a five-star recruit from Greensboro, North Carolina, Shaw was ranked as the No. 20 player nationally and the No. 6 defensive lineman in the 2022 recruiting class. He has one year of eligibility remaining and is expected to make a significant impact on Texas’s defensive front in the upcoming season.
