Texas A&M defensive lineman Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy has committed to South Carolina after entering the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3.
Brownlow-Dindy was a redshirt sophomore for the Aggies who had relatively little impact during his three seasons with the program.
He first appeared in one game as a true freshman in 2022. Though he earned the team’s Freshman Academic Award at the annual team banquet, he took a redshirt thanks to his lack of game action.
The following year, Brownlow-Dindy played in five games, recording three tackles, 2.0 tackles for a loss and a half sack.
This season, in 2024, Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy saw action in two contests, recording a single tackle and a half tackle for a loss.
Prior to enrolling at Texas A&M, Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy was a superstar recruit. He was ranked as a five-star prospect and the No. 13 overall player in the 2022 class. He also checked in as the No. 5 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 2 overall player from the state of Florida that cycle, hailing from Lakeland (Fla.) Lakeland.
