Auburn University’s standout forward-center, Johni Broome, has been honored as the 2025 Southeastern Conference (SEC) Men’s Basketball Player of the Year. This accolade reflects his exceptional performance throughout the season and his pivotal role in Auburn’s success.
Broome’s dominance on the court is evident in his consistent high-level play. Notably, he recorded his 13th double-double of the season with a stellar performance against No. 23 Ole Miss, contributing 20 points and 12 rebounds to secure a 92-82 victory.
His ability to influence both ends of the court has been instrumental in Auburn’s impressive 27-3 overall record and 15-2 conference standing.
