Former UAB quarterback Jacob Zeno has announced his decision to transfer to Texas A&M, as reported by On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Zeno visited the school on Monday before making his commitment official.
The upcoming season will mark Zeno’s seventh year in college football, having spent three years each at Baylor and UAB. During the 2023 season, he appeared in 11 games, recording 3,126 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, nine interceptions, and an impressive 73.6% completion rate.
Zeno participated in just four games last season, recording 819 passing yards, six touchdowns, five interceptions, and achieving a 69.5% completion rate.
A member of the Class of 2019, Zeno was a four-star recruit from San Antonio’s John Jay High School in Texas, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, which incorporates data from all four major recruiting media outlets. He ranked as the No. 39 prospect in Texas, the No. 24 quarterback in his class, and the No. 342 prospect overall.
