Idaho defensive back Andrew Marshall confirmed his commitment to Nebraska on Christmas Day through a tweet.
The talented defensive back plans to suit up for the Cornhuskers next fall, giving Matt Rhule‘s squad a capable piece in the defensive backfield.
Andrew Marshall was regarded as one of the best defenders for Idaho in 2024, as he played 800 snaps, logging a grade of 75.8 on PFF. The Eastvale (Calif.) native played his high school football at Eleanor Roosevelt and has two years of eligibility remaining.
He has logged 66 tackles, a forced fumble and eight passes defended over the last two years. He has also served as a return man, tallying 14 punt returns for 150 yards and a touchdown, as well as nine kick returns for 373 yards and a touchdown.
Marshall had previously visited Nebraska as he searched for a home out of the NCAA transfer portal.
