Utah cornerback Cameron Calhoun has signed with Alabama out of the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.
Calhoun was a pivotal player for the Utes in the 2024 season, recording 21 tackles, one tackle for loss, an interception, and nine pass breakups.
He should instantly compete for time in the Crimson Tide secondary.
Cameron Calhoun, a redshirt freshman in the 2024 season, still has three years of eligibility left. He initially enrolled at Michigan and appeared in two games for the Wolverines during the 2023 season.
Before joining Michigan, Cameron Calhoun was rated as a three-star recruit and ranked No. 423 overall in the 2023 class. He was also listed as the No. 46 cornerback in his class and the No. 12 overall player from Ohio, coming from Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati.
