Dan Lanning has wasted no time pursuing transfer portal targets and may be closing in on a third. A mid-week visit is reportedly planned for one of the top offensive tackle prospects currently in the portal.
Just moments ago, On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported that Nevada offensive tackle Isaiah World has narrowed his options to three schools: Oregon, Texas A&M, and Nebraska.
The 6-foot-8, 320-pound offensive tackle is ranked No. 43 in the On3 transfer portal rankings. Despite this, World has been one of the top early names at a key position, with few high-caliber prospects available.
The veteran offensive tackle began his high school career at San Diego’s Lincoln High School. Oregon quarterback signee Akili Smith Jr. also played at Lincoln, along with several other Oregon players.
The Ducks are actively pursuing multiple offensive line targets in the transfer portal.
