Jared Curtis, a five-star quarterback from Nashville Christian School in Tennessee, has narrowed his college choices to the University of Georgia and the University of Oregon. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 225 pounds, Curtis is ranked as the No. 1 quarterback and the No. 2 overall player in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Curtis initially committed to Georgia in March 2024 but decommitted in October to explore other opportunities. Despite this, Georgia remains a strong contender, with Curtis previously expressing admiration for the Bulldogs’ coaching staff, noting their unity and stability.
Oregon has also made a significant impression on Curtis. He visited Eugene in November 2024 to watch the Ducks play against Maryland and has spoken highly of head coach Dan Lanning and offensive coordinator Will Stein.
While both programs are in contention, Georgia’s longstanding relationship with Curtis and his earlier commitment suggest the Bulldogs may have an edge in securing his commitment.
